Gastric bypass (GBP) is any of a group of similar operative procedures used to treat morbid obesity, a condition which arises from severe accumulation of excess weight in the form of fatty tissue, and the health problems ("co-morbidities") which result. I know eating that piece of bread was not the brightest move to make... but I did it. It is what it is at this point...
Best of luck, Becca. I know you'll conquer this carb head hunger in a snap!
Be strong and hang tough! Once it's out of your system you'll breathe easier, because you'll be a lot skinnier!!!!! LOL
Portion control is the key I feel. I won't withhold any food from me that I want but just eat a small amount, thanks to my little sleeve!
Watching those 2 events scared the crap out of me and I didn't go near bread for over a year. When I was doing intense training, I did have one special bread that I toasted and ate with peanut butter but I dropped it when I eased up on the exercise.

Yep...bread is not my friend any more.....and let me tell you before surgery we were BFF's! I too had a LITTLE piece....I was in bed for hours with my new little pouch telling me that my OLD BFF and the NEW Pouch were not friends! Lesson learned!
