Gastric Bypass Surgery Support Group
Gastric bypass (GBP) is any of a group of similar operative procedures used to treat morbid obesity, a condition which arises from severe accumulation of excess weight in the form of fatty tissue, and the health problems ("co-morbidities") which result. If you are considering gastric bypass or have had it, join the community where we share our experiences and find support.
1. being tired
2. being thirsty
3. caffein can stimulate hunger
4. carbs will stimulate hunger (the carb craving cycle)
5. artificial sweeteners can stimulate hunger
6. our bodies can associate certain situations/activities with eating (like movies and popcorn, or watching TV and munching)
7. emotions can trigger the desire to eat (for me it is stress)
Are you feeding your body what it needs? Getting enough water, vitamins, and protein?

Are you bored?
These are all the things I have to ask myself every darn day.
Interesting read on hyperinsulinemic hypoglycemia... looks like the simple solution is staying away from carb rich meals, which is what we should be doing anyways. From what (little) research I did it sounds like the symptoms are not hunger tho, but confusion, lightheadedness and loss of consciousness... Interesting....
