I can't wait to lose weight and go shopping! I can't wait until I can go to the store and buy a large shirt because they are the cute ones! I can't wait to find cute ways to dress I'm so excited! Sorry I was looking at 6pm.com it's a great site with discount clothes and shoes and just wanna shop! Ok now I feel better that I let it out there lol

Right now my clothes are too big but don't want to spend $$ on new clothes
Everyone says to save your money, you'll go thru sizes so fast

I took 3 big bags of clothes out of my closet...and my surgery date is still a week away...want that big stuff out!!!!!!

Prior to surgery I could only shop at places like woman within, most stores even Lane Bryant didn't care clothes that would fit me. I absolutely hated buying clothes. I didn't know about Catherine's at the time. So after surgery when my clothes were literally falling off of me I forced myself to go shopping and boy was it fun!! I went to Catherine's and found that I fit easily in a 2x down from a 4x prior to surgery. That is almost 6 sizes lost! Can't wait until I need to downsize again (it will be soon, my pants are getting pretty lose!)

Check with your nut and support group for a clothing exchange. Or start you own for wls patients!

Just some advice, don't buy new go to the Salvation Army or Goodwill. You will go through the sizes it isn't worth buying new. I went to my Salvation Army on Saturdays and they would have certain color price tags on sale for only 49 cents. I didn't try anything on, went home and washed it in hot water and high heat on the dryer and it if fit great if it didn't I redonated it. I restocked my entire closet this way. I did buy a few new things but they only fit for 3-4 weeks at the most. I am holding off on buying anymore pants since I am at 144 and want to be at 130-140 and pants/jeans are so hard to fit me. I have no butt! I won't buy anymore anywhere new or used till I hit my goal I have decided. The 10's are baggy by the end of the day but I am gonna wear them till I hit my goal. Right now I have quit buying winter and have been looking at spring/summer tops in size small at Salvation Army and Goodwill.
For your too big clothes try to resell them at a consignment store. I have made of $200 doing this. What they didn't take I took to my local women's domestic violence shelter for the survivors to wear.
It is fun shopping for small sizes though. I did buy new undies, bras and pjs but tried to find them on clearance since you will go through this fast too, maybe not as fast at tops/pants.

One of my shopping goals is to be able to shop at Victoria Secret--even just once! So tired of old lady uplift bras. LOL
