Came home from the hospital yesterday. Surgery was on Monday. Monday was in a lot of pain..no pain pump had to keep asking for pain meds and they kept telling me it was too soon. Pain meds finally working (IV) in am on Tuesday but still felt like s***. Dr in Tuesday said it was difficult operation. Felt so much better yesterday than I do today. I'm hoping it starts to get easier everyday. Still having pain but meds help,but taste awlful.

You always feel better at home. Dont forget to move around and rest when needed !! I hope you have someone therew to make sure you get fluids in !!! God bless ya !!! I was on liquids about 3 weeks...

First of all, congrats for getting through the surgery! You should have an easier time (physically and mentally) at home, but be sure to take care of yourself and take it easy. I overdid it during the first week and learned quickly to trust my inner-voice on limits.
