Ok...here is the formula that i was given:
You take your goal weight, multiply it by 11 and that amount is the maximum calories per day to lose weight.
You do the same for maintaining your weight. Take your current weight, multiply by 11 and that is the maximum amount of calories to stay the same. Anything over that amount of calories, you will gain.
Example:
150 pounds - goal weight
X11
=1,650
I have to consume less than 1,650 calories to lose weight.
I prefer to use the Adkins Step 2 diet. If you watch your Carb intake and follow their plan, you should be able to continue losing. Of course exercise is important too.
