My Doctor's office just called and they pushed my surgery back until June 24th so that he could have a vacation. Of all the selfish things!!! just kidding of course but I am bummed because I wanted to be on stage 3 before my Mary Kay Seminar on July 27th!

So sorry to hear that. I'd be pissed if that had happened to me. Did the doctor never hear of planning ahead?

nothing like last minute planning! Mine changed my date on me, but only by 5 days and I was crazy about it. lol We jump through hoops for six months or more to get to this point, you would think they could respect that just a little.

I think I would rather have surgery from a doctor who has had vacation. Instead of someone who is tired and stress and wishing he or she could just take a vacation. :)

I agree with what Momishere2. i would want my doctor to do surgery on me after he's had a vacation rather than the day before he's ready to leave for vacation.

Even though its a minor setback I agree with Momma and Shelley.... Only a couple of weeks away.. Hang in there...

agrees with Momma and shelley - let him get his rest so that he is rested and focused. God has a way of working things out so they are best for us. These doctors perform so many of these surgeries per year and hit their own level where they burn out, so if he or she feel like a vacation is needed, let it be. It's not that far off and trust me the time will fly by so you enjoy the time to do you as well.

    My 6mo twin DD's are EBF and just started rice cereal on the first. Everything has been going fine except this morning one of them had a diaper rash (lots of redness around her anus). I read this as one of the signs of an allergy. BUT I did just buy a different brand diaper yesterday (which they have used randomly before w/no issues). Do you think its the cereal or the diaper? Im ready to start...
