Curious if the diff is negligible. Tried it for myself but currently gets a server error
Height: 70 inches, Neck: 13.5 inches, Forearm: 12.5 inches.
Wrist: 7 inches, Hips: 42.5 inches, Weight: 195 lbs
24.72 % body fat
That puts me in the healthy range.
When I type my height and weight into the nhlbi site, it comes up with a bmi of 28, which they consider overweight. Interesting the difference between the two.
Surely someone from Blighty should be saying something about the metric system here.
Weight in KG divided by height in metres squared.
i.e
WEIGHT / (height x height)
See, it's gotta be good for something :-)
And more importantly mine just dipped under 30 last week...... WOO HOO !!!!! 29.6 might be overweight but I never dreamed it would be that low.
You got me thinking again... :)
I wondered what the actual definition of BMI was. This link came up:

It's all interesting but check out the section at the bottom on "Limitations and shortcomings"
