OMG! I dont think I have ever had so much blood taken at one time. The first attempt on my right arm was a bomb, she got a little blood and then started wiggling the needle around in my arm and I was like you have to stop or I am going to either pass out or puke!! So she tried my left arm and managed to get all TEN tubes of it.

A Blood draw is never a joy to behold. Was this for nutrient level testing ie iron, calcium etc.? d

It is part of my pre op testing. There was a whole list of tests he wanted run. CBC BMP and a bunch of other stuff too.

Yep for my pre op baseline labs they took like 10 tubes! I never knew they could even take that much. Just had one month post op lab work done on Monday and she only took 4 tubes! Thank goodness! She got my vein the first stick and it didn't roll or blow either. I have such problems with my veins. First finding them and then they roll or blow once they put the needle in them.

My 6mo twin DD's are EBF and just started rice cereal on the first. Everything has been going fine except this morning one of them had a diaper rash (lots of redness around her anus). I read this as one of the signs of an allergy. BUT I did just buy a different brand diaper yesterday (which they have used randomly before w/no issues). Do you think its the cereal or the diaper?
