SO I AM RESEARCHING BIRTHCONTROL METHODS SINCE I HAVE HEARD THAT WLS CAN MAKE YOU EXTREMELY FERTILE. MY HUSBAND AND I HAVE USED CONDOMS FOR THE PAST 7 YEARS BECAUSE I'M NOT SURE OF THE SIDE EFFECTS AND THINGS INVOLVED WITH OTHER BC FORMS. HOWEVER, SINCE HEARING ABOUT THE POSSIBILITY INCREASING WITH WLS I AM THINKING I NEED TO HAVE A SECOND FORM OF BC ADDED SINCE I DO NOT WANT ANOTHER BABY UNTIL AFTER I HAVE MAINTAINED. THEN THERE S THE WEIGHT GAIN SIDE EFFECT THAT MOST IUD'S AND PILLS PRODUCE SO IT KIND OF SEEMS LIKE THAT WOULDN'T BE A GOOD IDEA. LOL! SO JUST CURIOUS AS TO WHAT OTHERS HAVE FOUND USEFUL/HELPFUL/EFFECTIVE. :)

...I use an IUD, I had a copper IUD for 8 years had my last son and now I have a Murena IUD this one only lasts for 5 years though, my insurance doesn't pay for the copper one anymore. I love it because I don't have to worry about taking a pill, essentially for me its thoughtless I don't ever think about it. Plus I don't have to worry about having too many chemicals from the pill in my system as some don't work well with me.
