I have been taking biotin 3 times daily since surgery.So far my hair has not fallen out (i am 4 months RNY) and last week while on the cruise I had to shave my legs twice in a week because my leg hair is growing so fast so it must be working,

it made the hair on my legs and under my arms grow more. I'm still loosing hair on my head but not as much as at 4 months. I'm 7 months now.

i already have that issue!! LOL they told me its from taking so much fish oil gosh i really hope when i use this stuff it doesn't make it grow even faster.. I may have to take stock in razors LOL!!

I have noticed that almost everyone has hairloss at 4 months out. I am on week three is this something i should be worring about now and when should i statr taking the biotin.

I've been taking biotin since before surgery. I had superthick wavy hair and it's definitely thinning and changing texture. What used to take me a blow dryer, vented brush and curling iron every day to tame now takes a blow dryer every other day. I think my hair is healthier than ever this way! And another plus? My nails are AWESOME!

You need to take a bariatric multiple vit, calcium citrate 1200 mg, B complex, Vit D. Any others sccording to your NUT advice. i also take juice festive from Sams which is fruits and Veggies

I have been taking biotin since right before my surgery, I am at 4 mos and my hair is doing fine. Of course my weight loss has been slow and they say that has helped.

Lavina, I take the following:

2 600 mg chewable calcium + d
2 Flintstone's complete chewables - not gummies (I prefer the target brand)
2 B1 (I became deficient after surgery)
2 B12
1 D (2000 units)
Biotin

And Colace because otherwise things don't move for me on their own!

My dr didn't tell me ab this and I just started noticing some hair loss when I wash my hair. I always lost a lot but I'm scared bc I heard ab how it happens after surgery. If u took after surgery does that mean it comes in chewable? I know at first we couldn't swallow pills and I'm still leary ab big ones. Which do u get and where? I'd like to get some.

lineka...how many mcg are in yours? I use 1000 mcg sublingual lozenges that I got at The Vitamin Shoppe. The pill form were way too big for me to take and I was worried about absorbtion.
