We had friends invite us out to the lake for water skiing and water play. It is the first time I have played on the lake since before I was married. They even got me out on tube for about 3 wipeouts before I called it. :)
I think my boys still had big grins on their face when they fell into bed. Only problem is I was up at 530 am and I have to work all night so will be up til 7 am tomorrow. Well maybe not up, there may be some napping through the night. Lol. 70 lbs ago, you wouldn't have got me out, getting around was so awkward. I wasn't exactly graceful, but I was out!

I have got to hit the gym though! My arms are like noodles. Lol. Trying to hold on to that tube just about wiped my out. My arms are still quivering. Next year I will be small enough to get up on skis again! It is a great feeling to be getting my life back again!

Your post made me cry! We have recently moved closer to family...where there is also a family cabin on the lake. Last week I was in the lake with my little ones, laughing and playing. I would have never done that before. It is funny how I thought I was living before, but now I experience life so much more....almost like I was walking around in black and white and now there is color!!!!!

I hurt so bad today! Lol. I can't even lift my arms up. I wss feeling really old until my kids confessed to being sore as well. Worst part is, if they called and invited me out again today, I woud jump at it! Haha. Slow learner.
I did stay awake until around 5 am and then I strugglled for the ne. xt 2 hrs. It was all worth it. Great day.
