still take something every night. No difference

A few of us were talking about that and we've noticed a pretty big difference.

The pill doesn't last the whole night for us anymore, so we end up waking up in the middle of the night and are unable to get back to sleep.

We've all changed to taking 1/2 our dose at bedtime and then taking the other 1/2 when we wake up in the middle of the night. That seems to have solved the problem.

I guess it isn't absorbing as well as it did pre-surgery.

My brain doesn't stop running all night long so my doctor prescribed me the smallest dose of Xanax and it does really well. I know it's not a "sleeping pill" exactly but it does the job for me.

I take trazodone to help me sleep at night and am able to take it after surgery (I had to crush it and put in applesauce first month); although I had a sleeve gastroplication so I don't have the malabsorbtion issues that RNY folks have; what type of surgery are you having?

Well I take Trazadone at night when I can't seem to sleep and was just wondering. I realize that I have a while left (five months of pre-diet) but while struggling with some insomnia I remembered to ask

I take straight up Melatonin. Its all natural and works like a charm!

meletonin gives me a headache i must be allergic to something in it

I was taking Trazadone before surgery but I was switched to Ambien after surgery and like others I am up up a few times a night needing more medication.
