Ok, so I had my weekly Nursing visit, from my agency that I'm involved with, and they always check you post op, on a weekly basis for a few weeks,if you have surgery.

She checked my Blood Pressure today. (The PA at the bariatric dr's office, ck'd it on dec 23rd...and it was 113/83.

I'm on BP pills, and 2 water pills, the water pills I take twice a day.

My BP today was 96/68 !!!!

Nurse said it was low, and she would call my Primary Care dr, to see if they wanted to cut me back on anything.

Doctor took me off my BP medicine!!!!!

I have taken this pill, for 5 years, and now it's GONE!!!

YIPPEE! I Love nsv's !!!!

Yeah Boo! I was also on hypertension medicines. They took me off them when I got out of the hospital, but I have been taking my BP regularly and I am in the prehypertension range. I'm going to mention it at my next visit but I think it is heading in the right direction. One less pill and a step to better health!!!!! Yeah for us!

Woohoo! Good for you Boo...oh, and I saw your profile pic. Your face is a lot thinner already. You must be doing all the right things! I must confess though, when you describe your meals it just sounds so good the way you put it that I just want to go to your house to eat! It always sounds so yummy!

I had grilled haddock and fat free refried beans AGAIN tonight, LOL!!

Had half the fillet last night, and the other half tonight.

I did try those egg white liquid egg thingy's this morning. I have to admit, I like my yolks, but I'm only allowed 3 egg yolks per week.

so, I "doctored" up my scrambled egg white , and broke up a few small pieces of 98 % fat free ham, and a smidgeon of reduced fat cheese to equal my 2 ounces, and and Scrambled Eggs w/Ham and cheese!!

I still prefer the whole egg, instead of the egg white though...

But, I am a true fan of the fat free refried beans..They are so smooth, and go down so easy....

YUM!!
