Yesterday, while having lunch with a friend, I noticed that my engagement ring felt wierd on my finger. When I took it off and looked it was an oval shape instead of a round shape. Huh? So I took it to Kay's Jewelry Store and asked how this happened. He said that the ring must be too big. I told him that I have had this ring for 13 years and that it fits fine! He asked if I had lost weight, however it would have to be a lot of weight. I told him that I had lost 40 pounds in 2 months and he looked at me with sympathy because he thought I had cancer or something. So I told him that I had had GBS. My ring was a 71/2 and now I am a 61/4!! He stated that because it was big with extra gold just hanging onto something or bumping it just right could bend the gold and if it hadnt bent I would have probably lost it!! I think it was from the treadmill and the weights I have been lifting. So I had to leave it (very sad about that) and get it sized. He also said after I lose another 40 (my goal) I would have to have it sized again. Sure enough I came home and tried all my other rings and they are ready to fall off my fingers!! I never thought about that happening.

Another NSV for me is that I was out with friends and someone came in that I hadnt seen in awhile. She hugged my friend next to me and then sat down without speaking to me. So I said Hey, How have you been? and she stared at me and then said "OMG, Cherie I didn't even recognize you. You've lost a lot of weight!!" Wow does it feel good too!!! Loving my new life.
