Had my 4th NUT visit today....
At my first weigh in when I went and met with my surgeon I weighed 322 lbs... She told me I had to lose 15 lbs for surgery.
Today at NUT I weighed 304!!!
I have passed up the required 15 lbs and I still have two more weigh ins to go!! I am going to go into surgery UNDER 300 lbs! I just know it!! Woot! Woot!
This means soooo much to me!!
Also... I took my measurements back in January per my NUTs suggestion, She told me to do the following:
Neck, Upper Arm, Waist, Hips and a Thigh :) So, since Jan 28th I've lost 8.25 total from these areas!!
Then.... (yeah, there is more!) we talked about scheduling cause she knows I am trying to fit everything in around my school terms... She said if at my next weigh in on June 3rd, if I still have my pre surgery wt off, she will schedule my nutrition classes for pre and post op diet for JUNE instead of waiting for July!! Talk about a motivator to keep going!
This will mean I will have this biggie out of the way so I can get on with the last minute appointments with nurse and blood work stuff come July...
And my hubby went with today... I even got on the scale in front of him A biggie for me! (I read on here where others have done this as a way to 'fessing up' so to speak... so it gave me strength to do it too!) And he asked if he could go to the nutrition classes too so he would know what to expect and how to help! AMAZING!! He is so awesome!!
Right before leaving for NUT visit my phone rings... its the doc office that did my endoscopy with the news everything came back clear to go on that front!
To top off the night, was support group meeting... both hubby and I went anf "My" amazing psy eval doc was the facilitator. Topic: Trama and eating to cope. Such good information!!

One last thing... then I will stop babbling (and bubbling!)... I want to say thank you!! I have learned so much from all of you... and have felt the love and support from everyone here!! I am so thankful for the day I stumbled across this site!

And that is awesome about your hubby.... It sure helps when they are in our corner... My husband is also very supportive.. His job does not allow for him to go to appointments with me, but he gives me 100% as best as he can....
I know you are going to be successful on your journey, and i hope I can wall right beside you as you go thru it....
