Today I was in the grocery store and a great song I hadn't heard in forever came on (piped in music).
I started dancing right there in the dairy isle without even realizing it.
It probably sounds like I'm off my rocker but it was the pure joy in my spirit that moved me.
It was kind of like a happy dance : )
I told my daughter because I thought it was so funny but I could see tears in her eyes because she understood the place that happiness came from.
I promise you that a year ago, without this surgery, I would never have found or been in touch with, that joy within me.
Just though I'd share that happiness with all of you, XO, Hope

Pure joy is beautiful.
I have come to believe this feeling of Joy stems from freedom.
Freedom from a prison of fat, freedom of movement, freedom to be the person God intended me to be and much more.

When people see me now they see what is inside reflected on the outside.
People have all kinds of beliefs project on the obese. They make assumptions that we are fat therefore we are lazy, don't care about ourselves, have no self control, are dirty, the list goes on and
on .Even our kids and family become ashamed of us.
What a terrible burden (weight) to carry around
I can see the sublte shift in what others project to me, about me and I feel a different vibe.
I am free of that now and I dance. I dance because I am lighter than air.
