Gastric Bypass Surgery Support Group
Gastric bypass (GBP) is any of a group of similar operative procedures used to treat morbid obesity, a condition which arises from severe accumulation of excess weight in the form of fatty tissue, and the health problems ("co-morbidities") which result. If you are considering gastric bypass or have had it, join the community where we share our experiences and find support.
Good Luck and keep us updated!

There have been others before you who the stork has visited since their surgery. I know of a few - one just two months out.
They all kept in close contact with both the baby dr and GBP /lap band dr. And shared even the "this is too silly to ask/question" with both for not all baby drs know much about GBP/lap band. One girl I know was lucky enough for her baby dr was a GBP recipient herself. And definitely listen to your nutrition specialist too.
Keep us posted. Have you decided on names yet? It took my son and daughter-in-law had their names picked 2 days after doing the home preg test. Our bundle of joy is due in March.
After seeing my ob/gyn yesterday I'm no longer afraid of gaining a bunch of weight. He basically told me that I have to stop losing weight and actually work to maintain my weight while I'm pregnant and then I can continue losing weight after the baby is born. My sister had the surgery and was pregnant 6 months after and she said that it's really hard to maintain and not lose, she lost 35 lbs through her pregnancy.
Thanks so much for the encouraging words. I'm really very excited about this journey.
