It does get easier to see yourself at your true size. i think that you will always have moments that you think - i look fat, but those become less and less.
however, at 3yrs out i still forget that i am not a fat person. like i will still talk to others and forget that they didn't know me when i was fat. this summer i was sick and lost 18 lbs. i was telling an overweight girl about it and i could see a bit of that eye rolling - skinny person wanting to gain weight. but when i reminded her of where i came from she seemed to relax.
There's also times i judge skinny people still - like they're a snot or something. then i remember, i'm a skinny person, are overweight people judging me? I find i am still friendlier to overweight people than thin people.
however, i have found myself noticing heavy people more. i instantly think that was me or they could be helped by WLS. i still struggle with know that this surgery is NOT for everyone, but thinking why wouldn't someone want to do it.
i also still struggle with my saggy boobs and the bags under my eyes. I know exercise would fix my flat butt and saggy arms so for some reason they don't bother me as much. But i don't want implants and i don't think i could do botox either. which leaves me no control over those things.
boy, i rambled.
Congrats on goal!!!!!!

I'm close to the same loss and the saggy butt thing! It hurts to sit!
Congrats to you. Losing half of yourself is amazing.
I had massive amounts of extra skin everywhere. I had a tummy tuck and breast lift last month, and have a butt lift and brachioplasty scheduled for February. I can't wait until it's all done!
I too would do it again in a heartbeat. I have had no complications at all. Congratulations on your weight loss and meeting your goal.
