Any PCOSers out there? I'll be going for the sleeve soon and I'm hoping after the weight loss I will be able to conceive. Any success stories

I don't personally have it, but have talked to MANY surgery peeps who do and have had great success with conceiving post surgery and weight loss :)

There is another on line support group called thinner times (google will find it). I know there are many there, if not here! (I visit there too) I

I am a few years out and still having issues concieving, however, be advised to try and not get prejudgers 2 years till post op, you really need that time to develop the skills and be healthy enough to carry a baby to term.

yes I know of many who have,not myself ,Iam beyond that stage,but know of MANY who have. Good Luck,major weight loss ,I beleive is like the frist time you become a parent,no matter how much you thing your prepaired,when time come you find out its more than you could ever imagine.and some,but you make it through,my best advice is relax and enjoy the journey,thats what it is ,just allow,breaath.

I'm a sufferer of PCOS and while I'm not aiming for a baby my cycle is now more frequent and, dare I say, regular. The symptoms have reduced and I feel much better/fitter in myself. One time in the waiting room I met a woman who was 3 years out from gastric bypass and she had her little boy with her, who she had conceived just over a year post-op. She was really happy and he was perfect. (I was told to wait at least a year, ideally two before trying to fall pregnant after the surgery). I had the bypass but it's the weight loss not the surgery type that makes the difference.

I had RNY 10/30/15 and after not having a period for many months prior, I actually started the day after surgery. Took about 2 months to regulate but since the first of the year it's like clockwork. My only issue now is the excessive hair that I hoped would go away after surgery. From what I've read it can take at least a year for that to completely resolve though.
