Gastric Bypass Surgery Support Group
Gastric bypass (GBP) is any of a group of similar operative procedures used to treat morbid obesity, a condition which arises from severe accumulation of excess weight in the form of fatty tissue, and the health problems ("co-morbidities") which result. If you are considering gastric bypass or have had it, join the community where we share our experiences and find support.
Same here today as well - routine = easy. I walked 6K last night just to keep myself busy - my poor dog could hardly keep up.
Can't wait for check in's later...
Hugs! Patricia
Going to prep my food tonight for tomorrow so I don't have to think about it.
Keep it up, Ladies! We can get through today and the rest of the week will be smooth sailing.
Check in later...
Tomorrow may be difficult for me as I don't like seafood, but going to have some eggs for lunch and will have 2 protein shakes.
I have soup ready for Thursday and will be just fine for Friday.
Doing well, same as yesterday, no hungries yet. I went to Wal-mart on my lunch break and discovered Silk brand Pure Almond unsweetened milk. It has 35 calories, 1g protein and 1 carb per 8oz serving. I needed a low-carb milk alternative for my SF puddings, and tried it in a protein shake and it was really good! I'm going to use it to make protein pudding when I get home.
Tomorrow I start solid proteins so I'm going to boil up some eggs and get some chicken salad ready using a little Dijonnaise instead of mayo. Hopefully it's good!
Update: I typed this up at 2:15p and forgot to send it and it's now 4:15p. hehe
Still doing well, drinking heavily (non-alcoholic). I've had 3 protein drinks today and a bowl of Jello. I may do a bowl of ham n cheese soup for dinner. Tonight I'm going to make up all my stuff for the rest of the week. That should keep me busy for a while.
Hope everyone else is doing well too!
