Gastric Bypass Surgery Support Group
Gastric bypass (GBP) is any of a group of similar operative procedures used to treat morbid obesity, a condition which arises from severe accumulation of excess weight in the form of fatty tissue, and the health problems ("co-morbidities") which result. If you are considering gastric bypass or have had it, join the community where we share our experiences and find support.
I look forward to watching you melt!! ;)

She says to never compare pounds to pounds because people start at different weights. Someone with 250 lbs to lose will drop pounds much faster than someone with 100 lbs to lose. If you compare % of excess weight they would be the same though.
Our bodies are all so different. They also adjust differently. My friends and family keep telling me to continue what I am doing and once my body gets used to all the changes, it will catch up and the pounds will start falling off. So I am extending that same advice to you!!! We have put our bodies through a big shock (you moreso than me) and it makes sense that it has to adjust to the change!
This group is incredible! Everyone here is so nice and helpful.
Big hugs!!! :0)
