Tuesday will mark 5 weeks since I took my life back and I am 1 lb away from an honest 50lbs gone forever! 35 since surgery. It is an amazing feeling. My clothes are al loose and some are hanging a bit too much, but not quite enough to move on yet. Lol. Even my wedding ring will move on my finger now instead of being wedged into the corners. I can walk easier, and even enjoy wallking where 2 monthes ago it would have taken my brath away to go to the mailbox.
The day to day struggle is different. It could be considered a challenge if the reward was not so great. I have fought this batte so long and so hard, this really feels easy. I just don't like food anymore. If I crave, it only takes a bite to fix that feeling. Lol. I have long road to go, 100 lb more to work down, but wow! 50 lbs? How many times I tried for something only to gain it back.
On the downside......NO. ONE NOTICES! Whaaaa lol. 50lbs why can't they see it? I know I see it in my face big time. I have a photo id from when I started work a year ago, and the differnce is glaring. :) I will try to post photos if I can get it to work from my phone.

Also, I think it is harder to notice when you see someone every day... Have you ever not seen someone for years, then when you do they seem so much older looking? Yet, another person you see all the time you don't notice them aging so much? Its cause you see them all the time so their changes are gradual.
