Hi All,
It is hard for me to believe but it has been 5 months since I had surgery. I was 322 pounds when I started this journey. I weighed 298 the day of surgery and this weekend I weighed in at 222 pounds. So, I have lost 100 pounds overall, 76 since surgery!!!
I feel 110% better. I can do any type of exercise without fear of failure. I am not so tired all the time. I am off my diabetes medication completely. My high blood pressure medication was halved and my doctor believes I will be able to stop taking it within another 2 months. I have my life back and I am so thankful to God and GBS for helping me to get there.
I couldn't even get on my size 26 jeans when I started. I comfortable wore size 16 jeans this weekend. I was wearing 3X/4X tops before. I ordered several size large tops from a NORMAL catalog and they all fit. I am so excited that soon I will be able to buy pants from regular stores too. Next goal - Onederland HERE I COME!!!!

Kayla - Girl you are smokin me already :) I only lost 50 in 12 weeks - you are almost there in only 5 weeks. When you hit 5 months post-op you are going to be one skinny girl!!
