This is my 3 week surgaversery plus 16 days of a pre-op liquid diet. I started out a 298lbs before the liquid diet am down to 263lbs for a total of 35 lbs in the 5 total weeks. And for an NSV, I am fitting comfortably into a size 22W pair of jeans for the first time in nearly 6 years! Down from a size 28 from before surgery.
I have come across foods that I have tried to early or just not chewed well enough and one instance of dumping, but other than that, I am feeling great and full of energy like I haven't had in a decade or more! I get the concept of head hunger now, and a bit about the head work we have to do. It takes a while to reteach yourself about what you can an can't eat. I track every bite, and do my best to get my water and protein in.
Another NSV. My partner said to me yesterday that I am looking great and that she can really see a difference in weight loss. That felt great to hear!

that is AWESOME! Way to go! Keep going hon, you're doing great!! I am scheduled for Dec 10th, but have lost 26 pounds in the last 2 months. My gf Val, has noticed...finally..in my face, and said I was looking good!
Makes you feel good when the one you love, and see a lot, does notice!!
