Well today I am 22 days postop and I am doing ok...I have some good and bad days. Today I start soft foods and I actually tired it the week before and eating eggs weren't that great. My baby pouch didn't agree with them at all. So I actually tired them today for breakfast and I managed to keep them down. I only ate about one teaspoon and to say they were pretty good. My next visit to see my surgeon is in march and I am excited to get my weigh in...take care all...peace and blessings..

You're doing good. I couldn't eat real eggs but the egg beaters with a bit of sharp cheese was the charm for me. Each day will get better just don't weigh yourself daily like I did. You're going to do great.

Eggs are tricky for me. I used to (pre-WLS) only like them scrambled. Now I can't eat scrambled, but hard boiled or over easy are fine. I do like the nice protein boost they give me, so I'm glad I can eat them in these forms.

So glad you are progressing to soft foods. Looks like you're doing it slow and easy which is the best approach!

I have to have my eggs very softly cooked. Even this far out (17 mos) I cannot eat a hard scrambled or boiled egg. Good thing I like my yolks a little runny. lol

Congrats! I have found how wonderful and needed the little victories are to get through this. I know others here are saying they ate CHEESE on their eggs. Did you try that? I am afraid to try cheese. I thought you would have to go a lot longer to try cheese.
