Has anyone lost 200 or more pounds with GBP? That's what I need to lose and I'm wondering if it is possible.

Well I can tell you that I have lost over 450lbs. since I started my "New Life" journey. I started at 701lbs and things are lookin' good. You have to decide that this is for you and look down the long road to success. Past the hurdles and the not feeling so well at times. Remember it's not a fix for everything but it has helped me. I am now off about 12 meds that I was on. BP is 110/68 and my blood sugar is around 90. So, yes, it's possible, but YOU must decide if your ready to do it. Get all the information you can get and see a good Dr. and hospital.

My surgeon said that I will lose about 170lbs, so I'm not that far from what you need to lose. My surgery is on July 6th, so I haven't started my journey yet. I do have a cousin that had GB in 2007 and she lost 200lbs. She went from 309 to 109. She told me she would do it all over again if she had too.

my sister had gbs a year and a half ago and has 240 lbs. i also would like to loose 240 lbs. i am 11 weeks out today and am down 70 lbs. and thats not exercising. i have inflammatory arthritis and its a killer trying to exercise and even walk. but i decided to join a fitness club and the dr recommended that i swim. so thats what im going to do and im hoping to get to that 240 lb weight loss.

200 lbs is my goal weight loss. I had my surgery on June 11th 2008. To date I have lost 135 lbs. I only have 65 more to go. I believe you can do it.

Hi,
Thank you so much for your post. I need to lose 195 and I'm having my wls this July. I am a sugar crack head and I can not stop with my sugar binges! I really do hope its possible too, b/c I'm 310 pounds and I'm 5"1'!!!! :(

Hey ...all things are possible if you REALLY WANT it bad enough....I started out at 435lbs. and am now at 284 and losing....151lbs. down so far! I need to lose quite a bit more but I know with this wonderful tool and my new knowledge of how to eat the right things I will be fine! My surgery was on Dec.2,2008...It is a life choice we are making and that is what makes it work for us, right gang? smile!:)
