Ok, I've been on this partial liquid diet now, since 9/10/13, so just about 5 weeks.
I've lost 18 POUNDS!!!!!!
My surgery is Oct 29th, so 2 more weeks, and I'll be joining the loser's bench!
My nutritionist said she wants me to stay on the partial liquid diet until surgery. It's 4 Glucose Controlled Boost Shakes, and 5 ounces of lean protein and 2 cups of veggies for dinner.
All the water, sf popsicles, sf jello I want in between meals.
It doesn't seem possible, after all of this waiting, that it's finally right around the corner.
I cant wait to get some of this weight off my sore , and painful joints. I'm hoping this will save my life, and my body! I am ready for the challenge, the hard work, and the commitment!!!

You are doing amazing. I'm getting more excited for you by the day.
TWarden...Yes, it is a long time, but I had gained some weight back, and I also am not very active because of severe spinal stenosis, and arthritis, so my NUT wanted me to stay on the parital liquid diet, to make up for me not being able to exercise like regular people do, and to lose the weight needed to shrink the liver etc..
