Well, here it is two weeks since RNY Surgery (8 inch incision no Lap) and I am doing great. Pain of course is all gone, I am getting my protein shakes in (85 percent of the time) I haven't been able to walk much but that changes today. My incision leaks and I am told that is normal but, damn, when it leaks it's like you just turned on the faucet. Checked with my surgeon and this is normal it will stop.
Monday I get the staples out (I hope) and I should be able to eat puree'd food by then, will be glad to get something else than Cream Soups and Broth. Also, once the staples are out I will be able to get back into the gym, slowly I know but at least I will be back.
On a bright note as of today 11-21-2013 I have lost 27 pounds down to 386 from 413 two weeks ago. It feels GREAT!!!! I am glad now that I did this, it's not as hard as I thought it would be, and it's like others have said "it's more a mind game then anything else" that is so true.

I'm glad you're doing well! That is a wonderful weight loss that you have accomplished!
Hope with each day you feel better and better! I bet you will feel a lot more normal, once you get your stiches/staples out...You'll feel like a new man, and be able to move around more freely and walk more.
