Gastric Bypass Surgery Support Group
Gastric bypass (GBP) is any of a group of similar operative procedures used to treat morbid obesity, a condition which arises from severe accumulation of excess weight in the form of fatty tissue, and the health problems ("co-morbidities") which result. If you are considering gastric bypass or have had it, join the community where we share our experiences and find support.
Hope this helps a bit. I know you will get more from others.
The first week we could have chicken or turkey broth, sf jello (any color but red - if we threw up, and it was red they wanted to know it was blood, not jello), herbal tea (no caffeine), and water. I cut my jello into cubes and ate it from a martini glass! The tea was heaven for my tender, new pouch. I quickly learned I preferred my water room temperature or even a bit warm.
