Thanks Tracie - I am so ready to get this done. My cousin said she is so proud of me and that I am so calm. She has no idea how in and out I go but you guys understand. I allow my nerves to happen because I know its normal. I just remember how nervous I would get before a performance when I had to sing solo's in school - I would be a wreck until I took center stage and then I would kill the song - this is no different - just pre jitters. I'm sure this will be a cinch and if not I'm in the right place for them to handle it. God is my surgeon and all will be well. Love you and thanks to all for the encouraging words.

My hospital had these really great body wipes they heated up and gave myself a sponge bath with, so nice!!
Wore glasses instead of contacts
My husband brought my iPhone the next day
Sip, walk , sip, walk!!
I poured the protein drink they gave me into a medicine pill cup
Easy to sip out of, even gave me some to take home

As a Guy I can't guess what to pack. I had way more stuff than I needed. I got to wear my pajama bottoms and a tee shirt. After the cath was out. I didn't have a drain tube.
Something to read would have been nice. I had my cell phone but it's a dumb phone no internet.
Slippers for sure. They let me walk all over the floor I was on. I took sweats to wear home.

lmbo @ the dumb phone but thank you all for the love and well wishes I am going to take it down my stomach is telling me i need to eat - so i drank another protein shake and it's now sleepy time - day two tomorrow. I can do all things through Christ who strengthens me.

A robe and some comfortable and definitly some chapstix. I'll be praying for you. debby

well i posted to you yesterday thinking that yestrday was surgery day. i wish you well. it is one week for me today and everyday further from last tuesday gets better. i took a very small lunch style bag with a book two changes of undies phone and charger. i never pkd up the book. i used those wonderful mesh undies from the hosp until i came home. and i wore home what i wore in. big tee and sweats. i wore their socks to keep my clean. i never pkd up the book. i never even turned on tv until late second night becuz i just wanted rest.
