Hey everyone! I've been reading, just not posting much. I never thought it possible, but here I am, 19 months out from RNY and have gone from a 3X to .......are you ready? .......a size 6! Never in my wildest dreams could this have happened! So, for those who worry about this not working for them, let me assure you, if you plan the work and work the plan, you WILL be successful! For the first time, my body has actually responded to my efforts as it should. For me, surgery made all the difference.

That is awesome.. Congratulations... I would love to worry less... I am just at 12 weeks out from RNY and I still can't imagine being a size 6... I am losing well, but my pants sizes dont' seem to be changing... Was just talking to my hubby about it last night.... So your post came at a great time for me.... Thank you... Keep up the great work...

I am so excited for you! Congrats on everything. I need to know about the plastic surgery. My dr. wants me to get it as well. He says that much of my remaining weight is skin excess. How much skin did they take off?? I want to lose a bit more before having any surgery. I am a size 10, but it seems there is a lot of skin in the way and if it were gone, I would most likely be a 6 or 8. Are you that size after the surgery or before?? Anyway, lots of questions. I am almost two years post op and I agree with you that this was a wonderful tool for losing the weight. Congrats again!!

Kudos, keep up the good work!!! I assume you've already had the surgery to remove the excess skin? How much total weight have you lost, if I may ask? So happy for you!!! Very inspiring!!1

Hi Vicki! Yes, my plastic surgery was done on March 29, 2013 and on April 1,2013. All went very well and I'm returning to work without restrictions on Monday. Friday will be six weeks post op. I met my RNY surgeon's goal of 148 one year to the day of my surgiversary. My weight settled at 141 a few weeks later. My plastic surgeon wanted me to maintain for a minimum of four months before scheduling the plastics. I waited 6 months. My weight never changed by more than 1/4 pound during that time. Over the last six weeks however, I've lost an additional 10 pounds. Four pounds were from the skin removal. I do believe that the remaining 6 pound loss is from muscle wasting. I've done nothing as per doctor's orders except sit in my recliner and watch my cats sleep! Well, no. Really, I've just been puttering around the house and running a few simple errands on occasion. Healing from plastic surgery is completely different from other surgeries where up and moving is the key to good recovery.

Thanks for asking! If you have any other questions, just ask away! Along with marrying my husband, having my RNY wls, it's the best thing I've ever done for myself. No regrets in the least!

I am so happy to hear that everything is going well for you - I too have some extra skin that would enhance my look and drop my shirt size a bit if it were removed - thanks for sharing it gives me hope that with this WLS Tool all things are possible!!

Holy YOU KNOW WHAT!!!! I know what you mean about for the first time your body is responding to a plan!! Isn't it wonderful. Wow, size 6- that is incredible. Congrats!!
