Gastric bypass (GBP) is any of a group of similar operative procedures used to treat morbid obesity, a condition which arises from severe accumulation of excess weight in the form of fatty tissue, and the health problems ("co-morbidities") which result. how exciting with the baby.......that is going to be hard not to be able to hold her......but so worth it!
The most valuable thing after surgery was a recliner......I bought one on craigslist for 200$ and slept in it for 3 weeks and then resold it for the same price...........BEST THING I HAD........in the hospital the only thing I really used was my warm soft cushy robe and my comfy pjs to get home in...
good luck and congrats!!
I would definitely try my best to do what my doctor has asked you to do. Mine didn't give me a set amount but was very pleased to see a lose when I came in for my surgery.
My most valued things after my surgery were very comfy pajamas, sf popsicles, sf jello, no sugar added carnation instant breakfast (my nut. had me drink these three times a week while on the liquid diet), my laptop computer so I could be on daily strength.:)
