Gastric Bypass Surgery Support Group
Gastric bypass (GBP) is any of a group of similar operative procedures used to treat morbid obesity, a condition which arises from severe accumulation of excess weight in the form of fatty tissue, and the health problems ("co-morbidities") which result. If you are considering gastric bypass or have had it, join the community where we share our experiences and find support.
I can't give you any inside info on the liquid pre-op diet because my program only required me to be on liquids the day before my surgery (I lost 30 lbs pre-op in other ways). However, I can tell you that, over the past 7+ years here on DS, I've seen lots and lots of people make it through pre-op liquid diet. If you haven't already dropped caffeine, do it now (and take Tylenol). Stay focused on the long-term health benefits, drink lots of water, and you'll make it through!
I can't wait to cheer you on as you become the healthiest version of you!!

I will make it, and be better , healthier and stronger for it
