My Basil plant

theres so many people here that get sanity through gardening “no pun intended” that I decided to grow a basil plant. So far so good. Got some leafs sprouting, looking forward to making some sauce soon. Maybe some English muffin pizzas. It’s the first thing I’ve tried to grow since I was like 17. Nothing fancy just a little bag on the windowsill.

Though Basil won't take cold weather and you'll have to buy new each year, probably.

Try a rosemary.... its a perennial and grows easily.

Basil is also a great calmative and muscle relaxer. I love chewing the leaves and scrubbing my teeth with the stems. Basil and lemon thyme make a nummy tea.

Human fancies don't impress plants much. They are the Monarchs of sticking to the basics. May your relationship grow and grow, both literally and figuratively.

Tending to plants throughout the summer months has given me a lot of pleasure. Seeing nature at work is beautiful. The colours are bright and cheerful. Nurturing them, watching them grow and develop. I think it's been great for my mental health.
I'm a little upset knowing the frosts will arrive soon and they'll be gone. A perennial might be the way to go.

I moved it inside since we’ve had a ton of rain here the past week. I’m going to look for something that I can grow indoors year round since winter is coming.

    Misplacing daily use items

    My day...today...misplaced my debit card...didn't realize it until I got to the register after shopping to a full cart.  Used a different debit card and pulled apart everything looking for missing debit card before I left parking lot.  Got home, dropped keys.
