I used to have a 20X40 plot. We grew quite a bit of squash, beans, corn, toms, etc. Don't have that anymore, so I have a 4X4 Zen garden surrounded with potted geraniums. Just that small space helps to keep me grounded.

I haven't written in my diary on my computer since May because I thought that my computer was dying. I got away from writing but my computer is hanging in there. I think that I will start writing in it again. It's so therapeutic.

First, I hope everyone is doing well, and continuing to fight that good fight! Keep up the great work on yourselves; I'm rooting for all of you!So, I started doing therapy at the beginning of the year, when I was in my most depressed state, but with my therapist, I made big changes and steps in the right direction. I keep telling people, it doesn't matter the size..... Its the actual taking care of plants and enjoyment of watching them grow etc.
Its not just the plants I like to see doing well. But the plants become admired by other people. And the good insects come around too.
Ladybugs, butterfly's, bees and wasps.
People hate wasps. But they rarely will sting you. They move from plant to plant, checking for bad bugs. They take them back to their nests and feed them to their young. All day long Ladybugs and praying mantis and wasps are looking for the bad bugs to kill.
A few plants help your own little ecosystem in your own little back yard or even a balcony.
I like travelling and not even the smallest of gardens is very portable. I'm not above treating the world like my private garden. Giving an extra advantage to wild berries or weeding a flower bed in a motel I'm staying in can help me make it through a rough day.
I've been talking to. my geraniums, and garden crops for years. Am I alone in this respect?
Sometimes I wonder. Had anyone noticed the big increase in drone size? The. Bees in Pacific northwest are about an inch long..
