Red bleeding hearts, blueberry bushes, and I can't remember anything else....you're going back a long time, girl :)

I still live in my childhood home, so pretty much same stuff, plus what I've added. Always have lillies and irises everywhere. Cosmos, galardia, black eyed Susan's, marigolds. Mint, dill, lemon balm. There is still clover my dad planted in our yard for the sheep. Don't have sheep anymore.
I have lilac and forsythia and a fire bush. They all got haircuts last weekend. Always had lots of perennials, my mom always has to have petunias, geraniums, rose moss, and impatiens for annuals.
When my dad was alive, he always had lots of sweet William and other woods flowers, daisies, and peonies.
And of course we always have wild greens cuz you can eat those!
I remember picking pears and apples when I was a kid and feeding them to the horses.
Growing up on a farm has good memories, but a farm is a lot of work. No telling how much stress our ancestors were under when setting up our farms. Nowadays it's even worse because small farms can't hope to ever compete with the huge industrial farms and all the new trade regulations. And the flooding! Omg this year and last destroyed some small Farmers in my area. My property is on high ground, but still my Creek flash flooded and now I no longer have easy access to my fields . Had to lease them to someone with better equipment.
