I tried growing a bunch of different kinds of tomatoes this year to see what I want to grow next year. Here are the finalists:
German Johnson
Yellow Pear
Big Beefsteak
Goliath
These are in the order of highest yield. They were also low maintenance and grew really fast. I suppose German Queen deserves an honorable mention but idk that I will grow that again because it grew slower than others.

Oh wait I forgot San Marzanos! Those were so easy to process and can and made really yummy pasta sauce!

Tomatoes did well here in Michigan with the very hot summer. Glad that you’re back.

I didn't plant anything this year due to time constraints during planting season but I have been buying my veggies off a local amish family. The tomatos they grow are far better then mine would have been. I don't know how they do it.

I was recently separated from my wife of 33 years and it's complicated. Anyway I rented a room about 15 minutes away and I see my kids about once a week. I see the people who own the house I live in once in a while but other than that I stay in my room where I do my cooking, wash dishes in the shower, read, color, and sleep. I get out at least once a day. I grocery shop and I attend 2 meetings...
