Last night I dreamed I was a bricklayer in hell. I made a deal with the devil and he made me just keep on stacking up rocks.
I worked my butt off yesterday digging trenches and working on borders. The geode one is finished and looks great. But the other one I used flat rocks that I dug out of another bed. It still looks a little shaky. Gonna work some more soon and move what's leftover around front to level out the flower bed there.
I also really need to get the veggie garden finished planted tonight. It's sunny and nice today, gonna rain all week.
I have kickboxing class tonight at 5, so when I get home I will work in the yard. I meal prepped yesterday so I have dinner made except for a side. So I should have some garden time. The rest of the week I can relax, get my hair done, just whatever.
I can't wait until I get all my garden chores and landscaping done. Then I can just enjoy my flowers and sit outside, make fresh cut vases, pick vegetables, smell stuff lol. I've got months yet before I have to worry about canning.

I was recently separated from my wife of 33 years and it's complicated. Anyway I rented a room about 15 minutes away and I see my kids about once a week. I see the people who own the house I live in once in a while but other than that I stay in my room where I do my cooking, wash dishes in the shower, read, color, and sleep. I get out at least once a day. I grocery shop and I attend 2 meetings...
Got my border around the hydrangeas done last night, started on the one in front of the porch. It's straight now with a bottom row, just gotta stack the rest. Then I gotta work on that bed. It needs gravel, dirt, and mulch, plant phlox and a seed mix.
