Probably roses because my Grandma had roses surrounding her front porch in the Blue Ridge Mountains. I don’t plant roses but they remind me of her and her farmhouse on a hill with a view of blue mountains as far as you could see.

Ooh sounds pretty! We just have big hills here. I think my vote is for the red hibiscus with the huge blooms as big as dinner plates. They always impress people. I have one growing out front of my porch.

I would say lilys and I think it's because I see them around Easter alot so it's what they represent, in going all the way back to my childhood days......

I love roses too. They were a favorite of my Moms also. Is funny because many plants or shrubs I have now, I did get because of fond memories of them growing up.

I have lilacs and forsythias now and had both at first family home.

I love roses and their scent but my vote is going to the Lily. I’m planting some this weekend and looking forward to their colour in the garden.

Ooh what kind are you planting Solus? I have lots of orange, red, and d'oro (yellow) day lillies.
I also have a species idk it was a gift. It is white with burgundy in middle.

Asiatic lilies. Orange and yellow/white. I hope to see them flower soon. I planted from pots I bought so they’re already partially established.

    check out that smoke ring. It tasted really good. I smothered it with Maulls BBQ sauce which is Local to St. Louis and one of the best I ever had.....

     I was recently separated from my wife of 33 years and it's complicated. Anyway I rented a room about 15 minutes away and I see my kids about once a week. I see the people who own the house I live in once in a while but other than that I stay in my room where I do my cooking, wash dishes in the shower, read, color, and sleep. I get out at least once a day. I grocery shop and I attend 2 meetings...
