You can see my hastas and bleeding hearts plus mulch. Bulbs are under the soil. I will take pics of the other bed when hydrangeas bloom.
Oh yeah and you can see in the one pic how bad my border in front of the house needs redone. It's on the to do list.
And of course my furry children had to be in pics, they are nosey.

Love the rock wall around the garden. It looks beautiful! You did a great job on that. Where do you find nice rocks like that?

The rocks bleed out of the hills on my farm, some come from out of the waterfalls. There is lots of limestone and geodes here.
The rock border is a mess, I'm going to dig this all out and rearrange.
The rock "wall" behind the hostas and bleeding hearts is my house lol. My dad did that.

Wow, you have a great garden! I’m just starting out. Planting perennials for the first time. I usually just have annuals in pots in summer.

Thanks! I just realized today, my bleeding hearts are actually Columbine, just a weird shade I've never seen columbine like that.

    check out that smoke ring. It tasted really good. I smothered it with Maulls BBQ sauce which is Local to St. Louis and one of the best I ever had.....

     I was recently separated from my wife of 33 years and it's complicated. Anyway I rented a room about 15 minutes away and I see my kids about once a week. I see the people who own the house I live in once in a while but other than that I stay in my room where I do my cooking, wash dishes in the shower, read, color, and sleep. I get out at least once a day. I grocery shop and I attend 2 meetings...
