I found this huge emerald green glazed terracotta pot for like $20. It's hard to find planters that aren't plastic, and they cost just as much.
Anyway its one of those pots that has holes in the sides, not just the top. You see them a lot with hen and chicks planted in them. They have like these little peek outs where you plant things, then you plant something else in the top. They all share the dirt in the same pot. Mine has 6 peek outs so I planted 6 cayenne pepper plants in them, and some raspberry alyssum in the top. The peppers won't get a whole lot bigger than they are now. It looks cool. If it doesn't work, I will take them out and put them somewhere else.
I also planted a window box and another hanging basket over the weekend, plus a raspberry bush.

check out that smoke ring. It tasted really good. I smothered it with Maulls BBQ sauce which is Local to St. Louis and one of the best I ever had.....

I was recently separated from my wife of 33 years and it's complicated. Anyway I rented a room about 15 minutes away and I see my kids about once a week. I see the people who own the house I live in once in a while but other than that I stay in my room where I do my cooking, wash dishes in the shower, read, color, and sleep. I get out at least once a day. I grocery shop and I attend 2 meetings...

Where did you get the window boxes?.
