this is hard one for me . Age is so unimportant to me. Every age i have been has had it good and bad points not so much the age but just what happened at the time had nothing to do with my age. When I told my 18 year old daughter her hair looked like clown hair. Her face showed her feelings when I said that. I felt like I hurt her self-esteem.

She dyes her her too much, constantly changing hair colors. Pink; platinum blond with pink; black with purple; black with bleached blond;...and then the clown hair-blond with pink, orange, yellow, blue & purple. LOL

Love is such a tricky thing. It can turn to hate in a flash. I have to say I was on the other end...I left my ex-husband. For so long, he hated me. I caused him so much pain, and I will die being sad about that.

I was young when I married, and we had so much in common. I loved him- only I think it was more of a friend kind of love. I didn't feel the passion I needed. When we married I thought it would work; we had been living together for 3 years. At that point,it was just easier to marry him than to break up. I felt like I was in over my head, and like many young girls, I really wasn't outspoken or assertive enough about my feelings.

I am very sad to have broken his heart. There are some things you can't change. I wanted to stay together and raise our kids, more as friends. That could only have worked if he felt the same way that I did. But it came to the point that he was frustrated with me, shall I say, and his needs and mine just weren't working. You can't hide some things. I still wish it had worked. I miss him as my friend. But the passion? Not there. Now, 10 years later, his hatred seems to have worked it's way out of his heart. I think he actually likes me again.

That is very sad that your ex had obviously had some rough times. I hope you can forgive her. Like I said, love is a tricky thing.

Iregret not saving $$$ for my old age when I was young and able to work. I am in good shape money wise but i could be much better off and I could have contributed in stead of relying just on my husband.

Oh, yes, one I thought was a good friend and when I got MCS refused to understand my limitations and became very hostile. Turned prickly as a porcupine. Odd.
