So well said. It's as if one person leaves off and the other begins. Then they struggle to see which can win. I believe that the more of a future I can realize for myself, the better my chances of success will be.
All the best to you and your future...........penny
"The addict is blind to the future and the recovering addict is eyes wide open to the future."
That is good stuff.
I too have a great husband that is seeing me though.
Tonight I told him, I feel defeated. Work is slow and I have lot of bills to pay due to my gambling. He just listen.
The thing that was different this time is while I am not gambling I did not scream these words out to him. I was calm and stated the fact and then got over it.
While gambling I acted like a brat. A 3 year old tantrum throwing brat. I was so filled with anger and anxious about everything. I would cancel work and go home or casino and be a brat.
It sure is nice being calm and not bratty.
Thanks for the words of wisdom.
