You have my permission to read mine when you have an urge to gamble if you think it will help. (probably your own is more meaningful to you but feel free to use mine until you make one.)
Writing out a list of things you can do for at least 20 minutes that cost little or nothing, is helpful. Most urges fade by about 20 minutes, so if you have a list of things to do at hand it is easier to turn to one of those while the urge dissipates. Taking it just a few minutes at a time is necessary sometimes. Taking a bubble bath and doing the dishes are on my list, as well as taking a walk, journaling how I feel, posting on D/S and calling a friend.
