i realized no one had comments after you spoke, and maybe you came from this site, maybe not - but I regretted no commenting last night, my daughter was in the room and i didnt participate
some of us get addictions, some not, some get cancer, some dont, some cant have kids, some cant stop having them, we are poor we are rich, we are alone we are in abusive relationshps, its all a mixed bag of crazy, but its HOW you handle it - that counts, YOU DONT NEED TO GAMBLE, you need to heal....
but you have to realize that god will help you if you seek his help, just try it, say the prayers, go to church, ask him to help you and forgive yourself
its only money
make more of you life going forward, that will make him so happy and you by the way are worth it....

Some religions are better than others for recovery in particular and prosperity in general. I have friends who believe in certain faiths where it is somehow more holy to be poor than it is to be financially abundant. Never mind that the preachers and priests in these churches do just fine and it is known they keep the people small to keep them obedient. It doesn't matter if you're poor because you blow all of your money at casinos or on drugs or alcohol, or if you're rich because you've created a business or service that delivers amazing products and helps and hires thousands of people. Poor is always better than rich in these religions.
If you believe in one of these religions, it's really hard to get yourself off of the ground financially. Sometimes people believe they are better people for struggling financially.
I have met lots of people in my life. Rich people, poor people. Beautiful people, not-so-beautiful people. Healthy people, ill people.
