the more meetings/conversations you have face/face or on the phone with GA the more it will sink in you are FAR FROM BEING ALONE, there is a small % on here, the rest are roaming out there clueless and havent even figured it out

You have done something by admitting your defects that many are still trying to blame on others or use any kind of justification to continue gambling. (Give yourself some kudos.)
Now is the time for action, to do things differently to try any tools you hear about. You will only change behavior if something changes.
There is something bigger that this life has in store for you, where you can make a difference in a life. But you must get sane and sober enough to see the opportunities. You are worth the effort!
Time to turn down the negative messages and turn up the positive about yourself and the world. The messages you give yourself and you get from others need to be carefully screened, and a conscience decision made as to whether to listen to that message or disregard it as not helpful. It is the beginning of self care.
You can do this, I see by your posts that your intentions towards others are coming from the heart and have no malice. The world needs more people like you, join in with the expectation that something good will be just around the corner.
Yes, there are some losses we created through gambling that we will not be able to regain, especially in relationships, but it does not mean we can never love again.

The best thing I've found is to tell myself "I love and accept myself" over and over again, all day long. That affirmation helps to heal the wounds of gambling.
