Even though I know I have a gambling problem my mind tells me that I have been gambling free for a couple of months now so I can gamble like a "normal" person. I doubt a "normal" person spends a portion of their day trying to talk themselves into thinking that they can gamble normally!
Today I will clean my house, do my laundry and thank God I am one more day gamble free!

It's just when we are in casinos or race tracks that it looks like everyone is gambling. It's just a very small microcasm of society in general. When we see others gambling it seems "okay" but it's really not. It's a tall order of waste of time with side orders of loss of money and loss of personality and soul.
Remember how "not fun" it ends up being. The pain, the loss, the shame...
