remember that, only you can physical walk in that casino and put the money down, you dont HAVE to
think of what youre gaining as opposed to what you're giving up
xxoo
lately my work has taken me on the familiar path to casino. strange the cellular response of being on those roads, the sights, the rush, all for a trip that led me to hell.
but my body/brain was so programmed for the anticipation like Christmas morning when I was on that drive and couldn't WAIT to get there.
it is so weird to see and feel that going on in my body, recognize it and see what a sham it all was. powerful but entirely deceptive to the outcome.
thinking about it if I drove from there back toward my home I'd prob. feel that pain, shame, anger I often did leaving too.
my body and mind can hold the feelings so automatically.
I'm sure it will diminish over time. the longer, the stronger to stay course.
and SO grateful you didn't go in.
I am SOOOO grateful I've excluded from these places. What a relief.
The fork in the road posed a challenging decision, and you made the right choice!.
Keep your journey alive and well...one day at a time.
