Good for you that you have found the motivation and are following through. I have managed to bike and walk some but not routinely. I know I feel better when I do.
I am very aware, as no doubt you are too, that any activity can become an addiction. The thin line that is crossed when addiction takes over is recognized by neglecting other parts of our lives.
I strive and struggle even for balance and frequently check in with myself about what I need to do to take care of myself and all the facets of life that go with doing that.
You have really come a long way since I first saw your posts here on D/S, I am proud of you and your efforts in recovery. Keep up the good work and have another gamble free day, (I intend to).
A healthier, fitter body and more energy are just icing on the cake. I only started exercising this week, but I feel amazing.
