I gave up gambling one year ago today. It feels really good to be gamble free! I took time to reflect on what is so great about it here is what I came up with......,
I have climbed out of the financial pit I was in as a result of gambling
I have been able to afford two trips
I no longer have to struggle with the shame and guilt
I like who I am again
I don't have to play the lie and deny game anymore

Those are just a few things. For all of you who are struggling....Casinos aren't going anywhere they will be there tomorrow so say no....just for today.

Congratulations Rainietoo, on achieving one year gamble free. This is a huge milestone and you deserve to be proud of all that you've accomplished. Keep up the excellent work!

congrats rainietoo! that is a great accomplishment! im still early in my recovery but knowing that other people are beating this demon gives me hope for myself. thanks for posting! that is so true that the casino isnt going anywhere unfortunately. they want to put even more casinos near where i live. i guess its up to me to stay away one day at a time . congrats again and have a blessed day!

One year is wonderfull! But what is better than time itself, you've been able to achieve all you listed above in that one year!
I slowly getting there too... Hopefully in one year, besides everything you listed, I'll also may say I have climbed out of the financial pit I was in as a result of gambling.
